My Cancun Women’s Retreat Experience I’m not even going to lie—I was a little nervous going into this trip. I actually convinced one of my closest girlfriends to come with me because I didn’t want to go alone. I had heard of one of the other girls, but still… only truly knowing my friend had me a little hesitant at first. But that feeling didn’t last long at all. Everyone clicked way faster than I expected. It went from “I don’t know anyone here” to laughing, hyping each other up, and genuinely enjoying each other’s company. By the end, it didn’t feel random at all—it felt like a solid group of girls. The Tulum Instagram tour was beautiful—such a vibe and definitely a highlight. The catamaran day to Isla Mujeres? 10/10. Good music, drinks flowing, perfect water… just an all-around good time. And the cenotes were insane—especially the underground one. Super peaceful, different, and something I’ll never forget. We had the perfect mix of doing fun excursions and also having time to just relax at the resort—whether that was by the pool, in the sun, or at the swim-up bar, everything just felt easy and fun. This trip definitely pushed me out of my comfort zone, but in the best way. It reminded me how easy it is to overthink something that could end up being such a great experience. If you’re thinking about going, just do it. You’ll be more than fine… you might even leave with new friends like I did
